The DJ and Producer of Cypress Hill, Rolling Stone magazine refers to him as ``the legendary DJ Muggs``. Cypress Hill, known for their connection to cannabis and millions of albums sold, have a discography that includes iconic weed-themed songs such as ``Hits from the Bong``, and ``I Wanna Get High``.

Muggs himself became famous in cannabis circles after the band's 1993 performance on Saturday Night Live, resulting in Muggs' lifetime ban from NBC. That moment put Cypress Hill in the historic company of cannabis legends such as Bob Marley, Cheech & Chong, and Willie Nelson.

Through a bit of kismet, Muggs met the owners of Bhang Corporation. Their mutual admiration sparked a conversation that led to a parternship and CHB (Cypress Hill Bhang) was born. Through the CHB platform, Cypress Hill and Bhang have been developing an incredible suite of uniquely-branded, high-quality cannabis and CBD products. They are planning to launch in LA early in the New Year 2018.

Currently serving his 13th term in Congress, Dana Rohrabacher represents California's scenic 48th District. An Orange County Republican with a libertarian bent, Representative Rohrabacher is one of the leading cannabis law reformers in Congress. As a speechwriter for former President Ronald Reagan, Rohrabacher penned the famous line, ``Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall,`` in Berlin, Germany. A firm voice for freedom and liberty, Representative Rohrabacher works today to bring down harmful and failed cannabis policies.
A co-founder of the bipartisan Congressional Cannabis Caucus, Representative Rohrabacher is helping global momentum for sensible marijuana laws. A Rohrabacher-sponsored amendment, now known as the Rohrabacher-Blumenauer Amendment, deprives the federal government of funding that would be used to trample state medical marijuana laws. This has proven to be a historic step for the United States' cannabis policy. Additionally, Representative Rohrabacher has recently sponsored the Respect State Marijuana Laws Act, which would protect all state cannabis laws from federal meddling, and co-sponsored the Ending Federal Marijuana Prohibition Act, a bill that would revert cannabis laws completely to the states.

I cover what I learned from hands on experience. Bust myths, give anecdotes, and provide real insight into a day in the cultivation business. I talk about the types of deals that never get funded (that 90% of the market is seeing) and the types of deals that do. How to leverage what you have while banks remain on the sidelines. And I interact with the audience by asking them what funding scenario they have, and walk through the details so everyone is clear on how investors process information.

Brian Staffa

While many cannabis professionals will tell you they're surprised to find themselves in the cannabis industry, Brian's involvement is no accident. The entrepreneurial fire that sparked several non-cannabis related companies has led to involvement with corporate grows, cannabis tech startups, and private equity groups. Splitting time between NJ and CO, Brian lives with his wife and two trouble-maker senior dogs, and serves as Chief Operator of BSC Group.

Experience gained while leading cannabis conglomerate Palliatech through the build out and licensing phases of their vertically integrated flagship facility in NJ, served as a catalyst, allowing Brian to perfect processing operations from blueprint to scale.

Brian has since traveled across North America (and recently Africa and Europe) to consult for cannabis cultivators, processors, manufacturers, and dispensaries, as well as private equity investors, investment funds, and ancillaries. He has been fortunate enough to tour facilities and consult for one of the largest retail dispensaries in the U.S., the largest cultivator and processor in Canada, the largest license holder in the U.S., and dozens of others in AR, AK, CO, NV, NJ, NY, CT, ME, IL, MI, NM, DC, WA, AZ, MA, MD, PA, OH, MN, RI, WV, and OR.

Brian's most recent projects have formalized under BSC Group, which was an exciting, natural progression from consulting independently under his own name. The group focuses on pioneering systems of maximal efficiency in the cannabis industry, with the ultimate goal of reaching the lowest production cost possible within an optimized, well-scaled operation.
