Evaluating The Current Status Of Germany’s Cannabis Social Clubs
A key component of Germany’s adult-use cannabis industry model is cultivation associations. Cultivation associations, sometimes referred to as social clubs, serve as primary outlets for the nation’s consumers to source cannabis products legally.
Germany now has hundreds of licensed member-based associations, with considerably more club applications pending and under review by regulators. A panel of experts recently evaluated the current status of Germany’s cultivation association sector, discussed the challenges facing associations, and offered insights into what to anticipate going forward at the International Cannabis Business Conference in Berlin
The panel was moderated by freelance journalist Michael Knodt, the author of Cannabis-Extraktion. Mr. Knodt was joined by:
- Frederik Bockslaff – Founder & Partner, Nimrod Rechtsanwälte
- Peter Mösenthin – CEO & Founder, Cannanas
- Lorenz Minks – Strategic Consultant, Research Gardens
